Male Performer Chat: Server Improvement Over Contests
Sort of think the key word here is CONRESTS. At one time it was something that I think cause some excitement, but now it seems there is a contest just about every week. to the point of where has the excitement gone. From what I can see it has got to the point where when there is a contest models now offer specials to those who flood their room with credits. Sort of like a Rollback moment at Walmart to the point that most viewers must be in system overload.
The worst p[art about it is the fact that there are some pretty good performers on the site who will never have a chance at these contests merely because they have formed something of a connect with their regular viewers.

When I first joined the site, I used to foolishly buy lots of credits to support my favourite models during the contests. Eventually, every time there was a contest they would message me asking for support with credits. In the end, I said enough was enough and I decided not to support models during contests because they all wanted the same thing: lots of credits! Eventually I detached myself from the models I met years ago because they were only interested in me when I gave credits.
Therefore, I totally agree with many of the points raised in this forum. My main reason for less contests is for the improved ability to interact meaningfully with the models as stated by alllen11111 👍

I really like some of the improvements we have seen over the last year or so. Spin the Wheel and Tip Actions are cool because they bring in more options to have fun with your favorite model. But none of that matters if you can't login and/or enjoy a stable connection.
Also, the number of contests may drive short term profits, but leaves people exhausted and get in the way of having actual fun.
I'm for every novel way to improve connection between users and models, as long as the basics are in place. If we are to make Flirt better than ever, we need to rethink some of our ways.
Contests can be useful to break the routine, but if the routine is a weekly contest that gets in the way of the model/user relationship coupled with connection issues, it’s time to break this routine for stability and dependability.

I agree, im new to site and forum, but this is a post that makes good sense, most post just folk tryna get feeling of importance, but this is a truly issue that can improve the site. Agreed with yall

I am in total agreement. I do not enjoy contest days because the models are focused on earning credits and are generally not interested in providing individualised attention to users unless they are willing to contribute lots of credits. I keep out of many chatrooms on contest days.
Furthermore, the site tends to be extremely busy on contest days which in turn prevents the lower ranked models from being able to log onto the site. This is extremely frustrating as these are the models who generally enjoy interacting with users and appreciate every credit given to them, unlike the highest ranked and most popular models who only care about winning!
Definitely get the servers improved as contest days do not increase my spending, they reduce my spending!

You look at the calendar that they publish on x and IG and every 3 or 4 days there is a contest. I very much agree with fewer contests and that they improve the connection of the site, but also that of the models, because when there is a contest those who are not popular find it difficult or cannot connect and if they manage to connect all the time their signal goes out and they have you leave and

The Flirt Summit contest is also annoying as it makes June and July a greedy month for both Flirt and the models. I stay away from any models looking to qualify for the summit during these months!

I dont want this thread to be forgotten. As its going to improve the site tremendously. This is just to bump this thread up. Because i dont need hotsummerallstar bs. Since summit, this and then FOTY its basically half the year one big contest wiht little contests inside. Everyone is tired of it. This site should have the customer in mind. Dont think of new contests but improve the streaming and watching experience for everyone.

Great point. With all of the contests, especially as of late, the streams are constantly crashing and the models and users are consistently restarting / refreshing.

Thank you! I agree 100%. With investment into servers streams could run at 60 fps and that would be a major difference aswell.

Smart idea to keep this posting active. Perhaps at some point the admin of flirt might take note and discover contest after contest does not make the site any better. Just seems to bring out more models who are geared to just getting more credits with littlke interest in the member giving them

Yep. If they take me on the boat again this year ill definitely bring up the issue to the higher ups in person.

I noticed this happening as well, and wrote a thread in the Technical Support forum. After the second day, I did not experience any more delay issues. Fingers crossed.

You got lucky and i hope you dont have any problems, but there has been 0 changes or fixes from flirts side. Not even acknowledgment of the problem.

I have been having freezing issues for the last two months. It was much worse about 6 weeks ago than it is now. It ruins the private shows. I assumed it was my internet connection.

You got lucky and i hope you dont have any problems, but there has been 0 changes or fixes from flirts side. Not even acknowledgment of the problem.
I noticed it happening on a nightly basis at exactly 10pm and would immediately correct itself at 12:01 am. I posted about it in the tech forum, customer support reached out asking for proof and asking which browsers, etc. I was using. I said plain and simple, the server is fine all day up until the peak times (8pm - 12 am) and that it had nothing to do with my devices nor my browsers. It happened again the following night, and I posted ANOTHER complaint in the tech forum describing what happened again. It has not happened since (yes, fingers still crossed). My two postings are still there.
